Over 250 virtual event bookings for SimplyBiz Mortgages

Published on

SimplyBiz Mortgages has reported more than 250 bookings for its upcoming round of Mortgage Meetings, taking place on its newly launched virtual events platform from 13 May.

The new system uses video conferencing technology to enable advisers to watch a series of live sessions, interact with presenters and other delegates, attend the virtual exhibition centre for shorter briefings and a ‘live chat’ facility for any questions following the event.

The events will feature speakers and exhibitors from SimplyBiz Mortgages and the wider SimplyBiz Group, in addition to Accord, NatWest, More2Life , Hinckley & Rugby, Landbay, The Mortgage Lender and Age Partnership, and many more.

Later life lending, fraud prevention and support available during the Covid-19 pandemic are amongst the areas to be covered at the events.

Martin Reynolds (pictured), chief executive of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “These events have long been a hugely popular feature in the SimplyBiz Mortgages calendar, and I’m delighted to see their popularity has not been diminished by the necessary move from face-to-face to virtual format.

“The brokers to whom I have spoken are very keen to continue their personal and professional development during these challenging times, and receiving so many bookings in such a short period of time is testament to this commitment to learning.

“Moving a series of events of this scale to a virtual environment is no small undertaking, and I am grateful to the lenders and providers who joined us in moving quickly to make this possible.”
