OSB Group unveils new charity partner

OSB Group has announced its new charity partner for the next two years.

Following a series of companywide voting, Depaul have been revealed as its charity partner.

This announcement follows the conclusion of support for CALM from 2020 to the end of 2022. During this time, OSB Group donated over £170,000 to the suicide prevention charity which has helped them to cover 21,338 calls to the helpline, run national campaigns and provide life-saving support to those in crisis.

The new charity partnership with Depaul UK, will help them to support young people facing homelessness. The charity, which has been operating for over 30 years, offer a wide range of support including emergency accommodation, longer term housing, family mediation, education, training and employment opportunities. The charity also carry out prevention work in schools to prevent homelessness and help young people safely navigate future challenges and give them the best possible start in life.

Andy Golding (pictured), CEO, OSB Group, said: “I’m very pleased that we’ve been able to find a charity that’s on a mission to end homelessness for younger people, or those at risk of becoming homeless. Our colleagues have voted and shown that supporting younger people and helping to combat homelessness is close to all of our hearts here at OSB Group.

“We’re working closely with Depaul to put together a calendar of events, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities for all colleagues to get involved with. We’re also delighted to double the hours of volunteering for our colleagues to help make a real difference in our local communities and provide support where it’s needed the most.”
