ONP Solicitors moves Cardiff office as headcount doubles

ONP Solicitors has moved its Cardiff office to larger premises in the city centre after doubling the size of the team less than a year after opening the hub.

The firm, part of the Movera group, said its Cardiff operation launched in June 2025 as part of a push into Wales and the south west of England.

It has now relocated to Brunel House, with the business saying the move will provide more space for staff as it continues to expand in the region.

ONP said the new office runs on 100% green energy, in line with its target of reaching net zero by 2045.

Warren Martin, director of operations at ONP Solicitors, said: “Our Cardiff hub has grown significantly since it opened in June last year.

“We now have twice as many staff members as we’d hoped for by the end of 2025 and ambitions to double in size again this year.”

He added: “Moving into these new offices highlights our ongoing commitment to attracting talent in south Wales and providing the very best working environment for our people.”

The firm said it also plans to continue recruiting experienced staff and will launch its first Cardiff-based training academy later this year.

The academy has already taken in several cohorts in Stockport and Leeds and is aimed at trainee property lawyers. ONP said the four-month paid programme includes live case exposure and one-on-one mentorship.

Martin said: “Our academy offers a direct route into the world of conveyancing for anyone looking to take their first step into legal services.

“It’s a clear example of our people-first approach in action, and its soon to be available right in the heart of Cardiff.”
