Oakwood Global Finance LLP has been appointed as the master servicer on a portfolio of over €400 million of Irish consumer finance loans.

The contract was awarded by a unnamed player in global banking, and sees Oakwood overseeing the primary and special servicing activities carried out by the incumbent servicer, an Irish Third Party Administrator.

Laurence Morey, partner at Oakwood, said: “The awarding of this contract illustrates the growing reputation and capability of Oakwood in Europe. Clients see the added value Oakwood can make to their overall servicing needs, in an expanding range of different service options and asset classes.

“Oakwood is committed to expanding its European service offering; we are confident that our proprietary systems are equally effective in the ROI and European markets as they have been proven to be in the UK.”
