New product manager for Twenty7Tec Group

Twenty7Tec has appointed John Penn as the new product manager for its MortgageApply platform.

Penn joins the provider of online mortgage and secured loan sourcing systems from Intelliflo, where he was head of mortgage proposition. Prior to that, he spent nearly four years working for Mortgage Brain, where he held the role of business development manager.

At Twenty7Tec he will be responsible for project managing the delivery of the company’s mortgage application submission platform, working with both lenders and intermediary clients on integration opportunities.

MortgageApply is a web based mortgage application submission platform that integrates sourcing and point of sale systems with lenders own origination and processing systems. The platform is designed to enable intermediaries to submit validated mortgage applications to lenders without the need to re-key client data into individual lender portals.

Penn said: “I’m very excited to join such a forward thinking business as Twenty7Tec to lead the Mortgage Apply project. This platform has the potential to revolutionise the process of online mortgage applications, creating huge efficiencies for both intermediaries and lenders.

“I look forward to working with the team at Twenty7Tec, and all industry stakeholders, on delivering this innovative solution.”

James Tucker, managing director of Twenty7Tec, said: “As we move into the next phase of our growth, it is vital that we identify individuals with a strong track record in this industry. John fits exactly the profile of the sort of individual we are looking for, and his experience and knowledge will be invaluable as we take our MortgageApply platform to market.”
