General insurance provider Paymentshield has created a new strategic partnerships manager role to manage its new and existing technology partners.

With 20 years of experience in the industry, this new position will be taken on by Brian Coulton (pictured), who is currently a national account manager at Paymentshield.

Coulton will provide dedicated support to the firm’s network of technology partners in the intermediary market and ultimately drive sales by ensuring the ‘right’ product is offered at the ‘right’ time within their digital journeys.

Emma Green, distribution director at Paymentshield, said: “This appointment recognises the importance we place on technology as an enabler for general insurance sales. For a number of years now, we’ve focussed on delivering intelligent APIs and technology without compromise which deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.

“We’re dedicated to maximising value through collaboration with partner companies and the creation of the strategic partnerships role is simply the latest delivery on our technology roadmap.”

Taking on Coulton’s role as national ccount manager for the North will be Jeni Law. SHE has worked with Paymentshield for 12 years and has a breadth of experience in the intermediary market, having worked closely with key accounts and specialising in adviser training.
