Positive Commercial Finance has recruited Gary Ellis as business development manager.

Ellis (pictured) has worked in the short-term property finance industry for 16 years, primarily for principal lenders, including Goldentree and Davenham Property Finance.

His roles have ranged from divisional director to business development manager and underwriter.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining a highly experienced and successful team at Positive and have found their straightforward approach to finance very refreshing. Having previously worked for lenders I have an excellent understanding of their needs when looking at cases presented to them for funding.

“I believe this will be a major benefit to clients and I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with commercial and bridging lenders and their underwriters.”

John Waddicker, director of Positive Commercial Finance, added: “We have known Gary for many years and have always been impressed by his attitude and knowledge. We are very excited to welcome Gary to the team and look forward to working with him. He’ll be a real asset to our growing business.”
