Barbara Corbett has joined Bridging Finance Solutions (BFS) as finance controller.

Formerly a management accountant at an international construction consulting firm and prior to that a finance manager of a manufacturing company, Corbett (pictured) will take responsibility for the finance operation at BFS.

She said: “I’m really excited about my new position. I was keen to work with Bridging Finance Solutions at they are an exciting growing company. The bridging sector is also an area that’s new to me but one which is really interesting and I’m sure will be challenging, presenting lots of new opportunities.”

Steve Barber, managing director of Bridging Finance Solutions, said: “We’re really pleased to be welcome Barbara to the team. She comes with a huge range of skills in the finance sector and will be important part of our growth strategy moving forward.

“As the business becomes bigger in terms of volume and products available, BFS will naturally evolve into a more complex organisation – I believe Barbara is the right person to help us manage this transition.”
