New associate member for the ASTL

Published on

Quantum Valuations has become the latest firm to become an associate member of the Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL).

It brings the number of ASTL’s associate members to 19.

Quantum is the third new associate member so far this year.

Quantum Valuations provides mortgage valuation services to the lending industry and offering an independent service of homebuyer’s reports and building surveys to the consumers.

It provides valuation, structural and building defect reports, as well as building surveys and valuations for tax, probate, matrimonial and asset valuations.

Alistair Smee, managing director of Quantum, said: “We have seen a huge increase in the demand for high quality valuations.

“With the growth of the bridging and short term lending markets, an increasing amount of our work is geared to this sector. This made it a logical decision to join the ASTL the professional trade body for short term lenders.”

Benson Hersch (picturee), chief executive of the ASTL, said: “The demand to become an associate member of the ASTL is increasing significantly. This is a reflection of the growing role that bridging lending plays in today’s market.

“We welcome Quantum Valuations on board and look forward to them playing an active part in the association.”
