MPowered Mortgages launches marketing tool driven by AI

Published on

MPowered Mortgages has announced the launch of Marketing Assist, which uses artificial intelligence and specifically large language models (LLMs) to quickly create marketing content, such as social media posts and emails, with the aim of helping brokers attract more customers as well as engage existing customers.

Marketing Assist combines LLMs such as Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT into a platform tailored to the UK mortgage market that allows brokers to create bespoke, professional content.

MPowered Mortgages says Marketing Assist helps brokers create:

  • Social media posts
  • Marketing emails
  • Blog posts
  • Website content
  • Scripts for vlogs (video blogs)

During the testing phase, Marketing Assist proved especially effective for smaller broker firms or those just starting out, who do not have the resources or time to create this type of content, the lender said.

Matt Surridge, director of sales of MPowered Mortgages, said: “At MPowered Mortgages, we are constantly looking at ways we can improve the broker journey and help them grow their business using the power of AI, particularly LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude.

“For many smaller broker firms content marketing is always on the to do list and we hope that our platform will help put marketing back on the agenda and enable brokers to produce an instant professional draft that brings their thoughts and advice to potential customers quickly.

“This new tool follows the launch of CriteriaGPT, our sophisticated chatbot which gives brokers answers to complex criteria questions circumventing the need to speak to the broker helpdesk.”

Dale Townsend, mortgage and protection adviser at the Finance Advice Centre, added: “Marketing Assist has been hugely useful for us as a brokerage. As a smaller broker, our focus is on efficiency and cost-conversion for our clients, and as such, we spend less time than our competitors on marketing and communications.

“Marketing Assist has been easy, simple and effective. It’s great to see lender like MPowered using the power of technology to innovate our industry.”
