Mortgage Brain begins phased rollout of new broker platform to Primis network

Published on

Mortgage Brain has started rolling out its ‘next-generation’ broker technology to the 2,500 advisers within Primis, following a pilot programme last year.

The system, developed throughout 2025, is being introduced to Primis members in stages. Advisers are now able to access four of the five integrated modules that make up the overall proposition, with the remaining element due to follow over the course of 2026.

The modules available immediately are Sourcing Brain, Criteria Brain, Affordability Brain and Submissions Brain. The fifth component, CRM Brain, will be introduced in tranches over the remainder of the year.

Primis, which forms part of the wider financial services division of LSL Property Services, has been involved in the development process, including testing and feedback during a first-stage pilot carried out last year.

That pilot also led to the creation of training materials, user guides and on-demand support content designed to ease adoption among firms.

The technology provider said the staged approach is intended to allow advisers to familiarise themselves with the system in practice, rather than introducing the full suite at once.

Zahid Bilgrami, chief executive officer at Mortgage Brain, said: “We are delighted to be able to bring our next generation solution to Primis members.

“Primis has played an integral role in the development and design of Mortgage Brain’s technology, working in close partnership across testing, feedback and future roadmap developments to ensure it closely meets the real-world needs of brokers and their businesses.”

Richard Howells, group managing director for financial services at LSL, added: “We have been investing heavily in broker technology to deliver a best-in-class system for our members.

“That is something they have asked for, and working in partnership with Mortgage Brain, we have taken those requests seriously and delivered.

“This latest milestone – that sees the rollout of the technology begin – demonstrates what can be achieved through genuine partnership and by working collaboratively with Mortgage Brain.

“The rollout of these four core modules is a significant step forward, and the phased onboarding of CRM Brain ensures firms are fully supported and set up for long-term success.”

For Primis members, the immediate focus will be on embedding the four live modules into day-to-day workflows before the CRM element is layered in.
