Millbrook appoints head to lead commercial property finance expansion

Millbrook Business Finance has appointed Stuart Benge as head of commercial property finance as the company prepares to launch its new Millbrook Commercial Property Finance arm.

Benge (pictured) will oversee the launch of the division and its proposition, before taking responsibility for building the team and expanding Millbrook’s presence in the commercial property finance market.

With more than 30 years’ experience in specialist property finance lending, Benge has held senior roles at Hodge Bank, Assetz Capital and Norwich & Peterborough Building Society, later YBS Commercial.

“I am very excited to be joining Millbrook at a pivotal stage of their growth journey and to be leading their entry into commercial property finance,” said Benge.

“Commercial property finance is a natural extension to build upon the excellent foundations that have been built by Justin and his team to position Millbrook as a leading business finance broker with SMEs.”

Justin Amos, managing director of Millbrook Business Finance, said: “Launching into commercial property finance was an obvious next step for our business, but it was key to appoint the right person to lead the team, so I’m delighted Stuart will lead this new proposition.”
