MagiClick renews Vida Bank partnership following digital platform launch

Published on

Digital agency MagiClick has announced the renewal of its long-standing partnership with Vida Bank, following the delivery of a new digital platform to support the lender’s transition into a fully licensed specialist bank.

The renewed collaboration comes after a key year for Vida, which in 2024 undertook a strategic move to obtain a UK banking licence. As part of this transformation, MagiClick played a central role in developing and launching Vida Bank’s new website, while also delivering advanced analytics tools to help drive digital performance and customer engagement.

MagiClick, which has worked with Vida since 2016, was responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, conducting usability testing with real users before beginning development. The agency delivered both front-end and back-end engineering for the website, as well as a unified design system that supports the bank’s additional brands, Vida Savings and Vida Homeloans, using a single code base.

The new platform was built using Umbraco CMS, providing Vida’s content teams with a scalable content management system. The integration includes centralised product management tools and automation for updating product pages, guides, and calculators. The system also includes multi-level content authorisation and comprehensive audit trails, enabled by Umbraco Workflow and Deploy add-ons.

MagiClick also supported the implementation of advanced analytics, including GA4 and Looker Studio integration. This enables cross-domain user tracking, helping Vida gain insight into customer journeys across its website and transactional systems. The platform now delivers real-time dashboards to business stakeholders, offering granular insights into conversion tracking, journey abandonment, and attribution models.

Iain Gibbons, marketing director at Vida Bank, said: “The MagiClick team really delivered for Vida Bank. Their insight, technical know-how and guidance ensured an on-time, on-budget and on-specification delivery.”

Mark Lusted (pictured), CEO of MagiClick UK, added: “MagiClick has a proven track record of supporting lenders and banks come to market and providing cutting-edge digital solutions for them and their customers.

“Vida Homeloans has been a key client of ours since 2016, so we were delighted to have had the opportunity to support them in their journey to becoming Vida Bank and look forward to our future collaboration.”
