Magellan Homeloans hires south east regional sales manager

Published on

Magellan Homeloans has appointed Jacqui Simmons as regional sales manager with responsibility for liaising with intermediaries in the south east of the country.

Her previous roles have included sales and business development positions in the intermediary mortgage market including Castle Trust, All Types of Mortgages (AToM) and Mortgage Express.

Jason Neale, sales director, lending, at Magellan Homeloans said: “I am delighted to welcome Jacqui to our growing sales team. She has an excellent track record of working with brokers and packagers to help them develop their businesses and will no doubt be a huge asset to firms in the South East.

“Magellan is committed to providing a first class service to customers and intermediaries and this starts with having knowledgeable and experienced regional managers who are able to assist with complex cases and turning declined applications into completions with Magellan.”

Simmons said: “I have followed Magellan’s progress since launch and have always been impressed with its competitive product range and desire to help borrowers who don’t fit the strict lending criteria of high street lenders.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to be able to bring such flexible lending criteria to advisers within my area and I look forward to working with them to build and develop their incremental income.”
