LV= to hold CPD-qualifying equity release underwriting webinar

Published on

LV= is hosting a CPD-qualifying equity release underwriting seminar to show to advisers how its Equity Release Adviser portal makes submitting applications easier and faster.

The provider says its portal – launched in August 2020 – enables advisers to produce key facts illustrations faster, submit and track lifetime mortgage applications online. By automating some processes, advisers can benefit from faster end-to-end times for new business. The portal was launched alongside a new equity release product, Lifetime Mortgage Drawdown+.

The webinar is to be held on 5 November 2020 at 10am and will be led by the LV= sales team and underwriting specialist John Hayward. They will discuss the key decisions and pitfalls that can affect an equity release application.

LV= equity release specialists Georgina Oxton and Chris Smyth will show advisers how to navigate the new portal and answer questions about how it can be best used.

Advisers who want to attend can sign in here.

Chris Smyth, business development manager at LV=, said: “We have received great feedback on the new portal and Lifetime Mortgage Drawdown+. Holding an underwriting webinar is a great way to spark adviser conversations about equity release applications and what they may find challenging about the process.”
