Berkeley Alexander has revealed that LV= Insurance is the latest addition to the panel of household insurers on its broker Quote & Buy system.

LV= is the seventh insurer to join Berkeley Alexander since it launched the system in July 2012, bringing the total number of products available to 14.

Geoff Hall, Berkeley Alexander’s managing director, said: “I’m delighted to announce yet another expansion of our online household panel. This furthers our position as the GI provider of choice for mortgage brokers and IFAs looking to deliver clients with a wide range of products from leading insurers, something we have invested heavily in achieving.

“It is a terrific boost to have one of the UK’s leading insurers on board and stands as testament to our reputation in the market and commitment to providing advisers with a competitive and easy to use single sourcing system.”

Michael Lawrence, personal lines director at LV= Broker, added: “Berkeley Alexander has an excellent network in the UK and this partnership will enable us to expand our distribution to IFAs and mortgage brokers.

“Both Berkeley Alexander and LV= Broker are committed to making it easy for advisers to trade electronically with us and we are aligned in this goal. I look forward to a successful partnership working with them.”
