LSL establishes GI provider

LSL Property Services has unveiled a general insurance provider called First2Protect with products exclusively available to Pink and First Complete network advisers and TMA mortgage club brokers.

First2Protect will provide a range of “lower cost” insurance policies for private residential households exclusively through LSL’s bespoke ‘quote and buy’ online platform. It will enable brokers across the group to access a range of products with prices usually only available online.

Its key policy benefits include one common policy wording, widened acceptance including cover for listed buildings and properties with a flat roof, a 90 day quote guarantee and two products: Your Home and Your Essentials.

For specialist, hard to place business ARs and DAs can also refer their clients to First2Protect’s team of general insurance experts.  The First2Protect team will provide a high level of customer service to both brokers and their clients, helping brokers with client and policy retention, with a guarantee never to cross sell any other product.

Toni Smith (pictured), sales operations director at First Complete and Pink, said: “The launch of First2Protect helps to ensure clients have the insurance they need to protect the home and property that they have worked so hard to buy. It also makes the process more efficient for our brokers, allowing them to further pursue opportunities in this market.

“First2Protect provides an eminently affordable general insurance option, opening a window of opportunity for advisers to target not only new customers but also their back book.”
