Brokers have welcomed Link Loans’ new Platinum product.

The secured loan is available at 7.9% up to 65% LTV. The minimum and maximum advances are £20,000 and £100,000 respectively. Link’s previous maximum loan was £50,000.

No adverse credit is allowed and minimum income is £30,000.

Matt Tristram, director of The Loans Warehouse, said: “Link Loans’ new 7.9% APR Platinum product means there is now a competitive way to raise money without remortgaging. Many customers looking to raise additional funds are currently enjoying very low mortgage rates so changing products isn’t a sensible option
