L&G to hold 8th Annual Business Quality Awards

Published on

Legal & General has announced the launch of its eighth annual Business Quality Awards (BQAs).

Launched in 2011, the awards recognise intermediaries who have demonstrated best practice in customer service and shown a proven commitment to retaining clients in the protection business.

Submissions for the Outstanding Customer Outcome Award are open and entries should include facts, figures, customer feedback and a description of how your business stands out from the crowd. Submissions close on Friday 5 October. Entrants should relate their submissions to activities introduced or developed over the last 12 months.

As in previous years, categories will be judged on the quality of the entry plus a series of performance metrics by Legal & General’s Distribution Quality Management team.

A full list of the categories for the 2018-19 BQA Awards is as follows:

  • Best Protection Written in Trust
  • Data Precision
  • Outstanding Customer Performance Award
  • Best Reinstatement Performance Award
  • Best Customer Retention Performance Award
  • Customer Excellence Award – Firm and Network
  • Special Recognition Award
  • Outstanding Customer Outcome Award
  • Best Supporting Account Manager Award

Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony, which will take place between 11am and 3pm on Thursday 7 February at One Coleman Street (8th Floor), London, EC2R 5AA.

Craig Brown, director of intermediary, Legal & General Insurance, said: “The Business Quality Awards continue to recognise the amount and quality of work that our intermediaries deliver year on year.  Not only do they provide an invaluable service to customers, but the whole industry owes a huge amount of its success to their continued efforts.

“The high standards and achievements of our entrants continues to grow higher each year and we very much look forward to receiving this year’s submissions and announcing the winners of the 2018/19 Business Quality Awards in February.”
