Scafell-Pike-Three-Peaks-Challenge

A team of 12 staff from Leeds Building Society’s sales and operations team successfully climbed the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales over three days last weekend.

The ‘Hearts and Sole’ team reached the summits of Ben Nevis in the highlands, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Mount Snowdon in North Wales.

They have raised over £10,000 so far for the British Heart Foundation.

Wayne Robinson, Leeds Building Society’s regional sales manager, said: “Our intrepid band of mountaineers successfully climbed the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales over three days. Well done to all 12 colleagues who successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge.

“We are hoping to raise £11,000 for the British Heart Foundation, £1 for every foot in altitude our team climbed, so remaining donations can be made via our justgiving address at https://www.justgiving.com/hearts-and-soles.”
