Just Mortgages to host recruitment event for self-employed adviser prospects

Just Mortgages is hosting an exclusive event in July aimed at mortgage advisers considering a move into self-employment.

The brokerage, which now supports close to 500 self-employed advisers across the UK, is inviting attendees to discover more about its rapidly expanding Just Mortgages Self Employed (JMSE) division.

The “Discover JMSE” event will offer a no-obligation introduction to the company’s self-employed model and the infrastructure it has built to support brokers stepping away from traditional employed roles.

The division says it continues to see strong interest, with more than 80 advisers applying to join in the first half of the year alone.

FROM THE HORSE’S MOUTH

Attendees will hear directly from advisers who have successfully transitioned to self-employment under the JMSE model. Just Mortgages says these first-hand accounts are intended to illustrate how brokers from a range of professional backgrounds have established sustainable and growing businesses, with the added flexibility and autonomy that comes with being self-employed.

The event will also offer access to the leadership and operational teams who provide day-to-day support to JMSE advisers. Just Mortgages says its model is underpinned by comprehensive training, compliance oversight, marketing support and mentoring – ensuring brokers can focus on delivering client outcomes while continuing to develop their own businesses.

TOOLS

Prospective advisers will be introduced to the full range of tools available, from structured onboarding and lead generation to business planning and growth strategies. The brokerage also offers advisers opportunities to diversify into areas such as business protection, commercial finance, equity release and later life lending.

“This is about helping advisers explore their potential and take control of their careers,” said Ben Allkins (pictured), head of mortgages and protection at Just Mortgages.

“We’ve helped advisers at all stages – from experienced brokers to those brand new to self-employment – to build and scale successful, diverse businesses of their own.

“They really value the infrastructure we offer, from mentoring with our area directors to day-to-day support across sales, marketing and compliance.

“Whether you’re curious or ready to take the leap, Discover JMSE is a great way to see what’s possible.”

Nick Savage, area director at Just Mortgages, added: “Discover JMSE is a fantastic opportunity for advisers to really understand what self-employment can look like.

“More importantly, what Just Mortgages can offer to support the journey. It’s an exclusive and confidential event, designed to give every broker the space and freedom to ask questions and get real value from the evening.”
