Just Mortgages creates new operations manager position

Just Mortgages is expanding its senior management team with the appointment of an operation manager.

Jessica Brome (pictured) has been appointed to the new role.

She has been working at Just Mortgages for 17 years, starting as a mortgage adviser in 2001 and most recently, client service manager where she was responsible for the client services team at the firm’s head office in Colchester.

Jessica hopes to use her new role, combined with her many years of experience within the business, to help strengthen the Just Mortgages brand even further.

She said: “Growth at Just Mortgages has been substantial over the past few years, and this is obviously fantastic news for the business, but it is paramount that customer experience remains a top priority.

“To ensure our brand remains strong, we need to make sure we have the right support in place so that we can maintain that vitally important link with our customers, which is why this role has been created.”

She said the firm still believes in the face to face model: “Our ethos is very much that customer experience and the customer journey are absolutely paramount. We know the industry is moving towards a more digital led service, but we are confident that our model reflects what is best for the customer in both advice and service.

“Taking on a mortgage is the biggest financial transaction a person will ever make. When people make that level of commitment, we believe that they want a real person there to help them through it, not a computer.”

John Phillips, group operations director at Just Mortgages and Spicerhaart, added: “With the promotions of Tommy, Steve and Jessica I think we now have the strongest senior management team we have ever had.

“These guys have all worked together for a long time, they have grown together and between them, they have a real wealth of knowledge and experience. They know how the industry has changed over the years, and they know how and why Just Mortgages as a business has adapted to those changes.

“We are entering an exciting time of growth, and I am confident that in her new role, Jessica can continue to take the business forward.”
