Just Mortgages has expanded its estate agency division with the appointment of Joe Cavalier as divisional sales director.

Cavalier (pictured), who has more than 17 years of experience across estate agency and financial services, will lead a team of 11 brokers operating across nine branches.

His remit includes driving growth, improving profitability and expanding the team as the business continues to develop its estate agency proposition.

EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE

Cavalier began his career in 2008 as a valuations and branch manager at Enfield Estate Agents, before spending more than five years as branch manager at Your Move. He later joined Purplebricks as a local property expert and subsequently managed a branch at Manning Stainton.

He moved into financial services with Sequence UK as a mortgage consultant, before joining Evolve Financial Solutions as a new-build mortgage broker and later a mortgage team leader.

His return to an estate agency-focused environment at Just Mortgages is positioned as an opportunity to bring together the two sides of the industry more effectively.

FOCUS ON ALIGNING ESTATE AGENCY AND MORTGAGE BROKING

Cavalier said: “My goal is simple, to take our team to greater heights by driving performance, boosting profitability and fostering growth.

“I’m passionate about aligning estate agency and financial services so that both work in tandem, not in isolation. Having spent years on both sides of the industry, I understand how powerful that connection can be when it’s done right.

“Just Mortgages rightfully has an incredible reputation for its culture, ambition and commitment to developing its people. I’m excited to bring my experience to the team and help our brokers reach their full potential as we continue to grow.”

STRENGTHENING THE DIVISION

Duncan Jones, chapter managing director at Just Mortgages, said: “Joe’s appointment is another important step in strengthening our operations.

“His understanding of both estate agency and mortgage broking gives him the insight to create real synergy between the two, ensuring that clients receive a seamless experience and our brokers have every opportunity to continually succeed.

“With Joe’s leadership and real expertise, we’re confident this team will go from strength to strength, building on our growth and continuing to deliver exceptional results.”
