IERAA officially launches

The Independent Equity Release Adviser Alliance has hailed its launch yesterday as a success.

Nine equity release providers were in attendance successfully at The Walton Park Hotel, along with ERSA and Assureweb.

The event consisted of presentations from Tom Maloney of the Consumer Credit Counselling Service, Andrea Rozario of SHIP, Robert Sinclair, AIFA & AMI director, and Peter Barton, Ashfords Solicitors.

Anthony Harris, chairman of IERAA, then explained to over 50 advisers about the Alliance.

IERAA says the overwhelming feeling was that the launch of an alliance such as this was long overdue. It cites Sinclair’s statement that launching this Alliance was “a sign of an industry growing up&rdquo.
