HSBC UK to host Spring Budget economy webinars for intermediaries

Published on

HSBC UK is inviting brokers to join a series of economy update webinars focused on the implications of the Spring Budget for the housing market and wider UK economy.

Citing strong feedback from its post-Autumn Budget sessions, HSBC UK is returning with another round of economy webinars aimed at mortgage intermediaries.

Comments from previous attendees included: “This was the best economic update webinar I have attended” and “the first webinar that I have wanted to overrun. Brilliant”.

The upcoming sessions will be hosted by Tracie Burton, senior corporate account manager at HSBC UK, alongside the bank’s group economist. Together, they will offer their assessment of the Spring Budget, as well as broader trends across the UK and global economy.

The lender said the webinars are designed to help intermediaries interpret fiscal policy changes and understand the potential impact on borrowers and the property market.

Two sessions have been scheduled. The first will take place on Monday 9 March at 1:00pm, followed by a second session on Friday 13 March at 10:00am. Each webinar will last approximately 60 minutes.

Attendees will have the opportunity to raise questions during a Q&A session at the end of the presentation. Brokers who wish to submit questions in advance can do so by emailing intermediary.marketing@hsbc.com.

HSBC UK said that once registration is confirmed, participants should save the invitation to their calendar.
