Hope Capital ties up with Melius Commercial to expand broker access to bridging finance

Hope Capital Property Finance has partnered with Melius Commercial, delivering more than £7m of bridging loans as it looks to strengthen its intermediary distribution.

Hope Capital Property Finance has entered into a strategic relationship with Melius Commercial, aimed at widening broker access to its bridging loan range.

The partnership followed initial discussions between David Weir, national account manager at Hope Capital, and Daniel Jones, director at Melius Commercial, centred on aligning their approach to client service and specialist lending.

In its early stages, the relationship has already generated more than £7m of lending, supporting a range of client transactions including residential bridging cases requiring rapid completion.

The lender’s Dual+ product has featured in a number of these deals, offering a solution for borrowers needing short-term funding with speed and flexibility.

David Weir, national account manager at Hope Capital Property Finance, said: “When I first met with Daniel Jones at Melius Commercial, I could immediately see that we held similar values when it comes to borrowers, and I knew that we would be able to work well together.

“By forming this strategic relationship, we have been able to present our offering to Melius customers, giving them more choice when it comes to bridging finance.

“We’re excited to see what the future holds for this relationship, and we look forward to building on it in the coming years.”

Daniel Jones, director at Melius Commercial, said: “Our experience working with Hope Capital Property Finnane continues to be outstanding.

“On our latest transactions, their proactive, solutions-driven approach and strong communication ensured both deals progressed efficiently despite inherent complexities.

“The team brought a pragmatic and commercially focused mindset throughout, maintaining momentum at every stage.

“Hope Capital Property Finance consistently demonstrates an ability to deliver with professionalism and collaboration, and we look forward to working together on future transactions.”
