HL Partnership bolsters compliance team

Mortgage and protection network, HL Partnership, has announced the appointment of Joanne Osborne to the position of head of operational compliance, reporting to compliance director, Kay Leslie.

The appointment follows recent additions to the face to face field supervision team.

This new role focusses on working with advisers to enhance the quality of customer files and helping them meet the ever evolving financial promotions guidance as digital marketing plans and campaigns grow in number.

Osborne has 30 years of financial services distribution experience, supervising ARs, providing support to new advisers and offering learning and development assistance.

She said: “I am excited to be working in a network that has great customer outcomes at the heart of its business. With my experience, I hope to bring knowledge and guidance to the team, which in turn will help HLP advisers meet the growing needs of the customer, especially at a time when Consumer Duty will place a greater emphasis on the role of advice.”

Leslie added: “it is great to see that HLP can attract people of the calibre of Joanne to join its management team and bring with them the expertise that influences great customer outcomes. I look forward to working closely with her to help shape our compliance support for members now and in the future.”
