Hinckley & Rugby’s mortgage deals available throughout Scotland

Published on

Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries has announced its residential mortgage products are now available to the whole of market in Scotland.

Brokers across Scotland can now access the society’s full range of residential mortgage products, including Income Flex, Credit Flex, Core and more.

The move is part of Hinckley & Rugby’s wider growth strategy to broaden broker choice and increase access to manually underwritten lending.

EXPANDING ACCESS

Laura Sneddon (main picture), head of mortgage sales and distribution at Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries, said: “Brokers in Scotland have been asking us for more options, so it’s great to now open our full range to the whole of market.

“We know there are many clients with complex or non-standard needs who struggle to find the right fit, and our approach is about looking at each case on its own terms.

“Expanding access means more brokers can make use of our products, and more customers can benefit from the kind of flexible lending we pride ourselves on.”

NO CRITERIA CHANGES

There are no changes to product criteria, meaning Scottish borrowers will continue to benefit from the same lending proposition available across England and Wales. This includes:

  • Income Flex: supports non-standard or complex income, including self-employed borrowers with one year’s accounts or using net profit.
  • Skilled Worker Visa: no minimum UK residency, no minimum income, and no minimum time remaining on the visa required.
  • JBSP and lending into retirement.
  • Up to 95% LTV on selected products.
  • Manual underwriting with no credit scoring.

The announcement follows an initial launch through PMS Mortgage Club and Sesame Network earlier this summer, where Hinckley & Rugby first introduced its Scottish residential offering on a limited distribution basis.

Buy-to-let products will also be available.
