Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has bolstered its specialist mortgages business development team with the appointment of Alex Klimcke as business development executive (BDE).

Klimcke (pictured) joins from Novellus Finance, where he was business development manager.

HTB recently restructured its specialist mortgages business development team to improve its broker support and create a clear career progression path. The team now operates across four tiers, from business development executive to regional account director.

Klimcke said: “HTB’s reputation for specialist expertise and its hands-on approach with brokers made this an easy decision for me. The team, led by Andrea Glasgow, is known for getting deals done, and I’m excited to be part of that.

“I look forward to working closely with brokers, helping them navigate complex deals and secure the right solutions for their clients.”

Andrea Glasgow, sales director – specialist mortgages, HTB, added: “Alex’s experience in specialist lending makes him a fantastic addition to the team. He understands the challenges brokers face and how to provide the right support when it matters most.

“With our strengthened business development team, we’re reinforcing what brokers value most about HTB – direct access, flexibility, and expertise that delivers real results.”
