Gatehouse Bank has appointed Robert Siddall to the position of direct adviser.

Siddall (pictured) will report to Gemma Donnelly, head of direct finance.

He will be responsible for providing advice to clients looking to finance properties in England and Wales. He will be the main point of contact for customers from initial discussions and providing a decision in principle, through to completion.

Siddall has over 18 years of financial services experience, having previously held positions at NM Money, Policy Expert and LifeSearch working in insurance, protection and as an independent mortgage broker.

Responsible for ensuring a smooth process for customers looking for home finance, Siddall will be based in the bank’s customer service office in Milton Keynes.

Siddall said: “I am excited to join Gatehouse Bank and look forward to working with new customers throughout the whole process of their application, from understanding their financial needs, the initial decision in principle through to completion on home finance and advise where needed.

“I feel that I have joined Gatehouse Bank at an exciting time, with the bank’s recent product enhancements helping UK residents, UK expats and international residents.”

Donnelly added: “I am delighted to welcome Robert to Gatehouse Bank. He has lots of experience in the financial services industry and will play an incredibly supportive role, establishing the client’s situation in order to make a recommendation about the most suitable home finance product, term, and payment method to suit their needs, priorities and circumstances.”
