Funding 365 announces internal promotions to leadership roles

Specialist lender Funding 365 has elevated two of its long-serving team members to senior roles, in a move that underscores the firm’s commitment to developing talent through its graduate scheme.

Jonathan Brooks has been promoted to head of finance after nine years with the company, while Katie Spitz steps into the role of deputy head of underwriting. Both began their careers at Funding 365 through its graduate intake, rising steadily through the ranks.

Brooks, who joined the business with a degree in economics, has worked across both underwriting and finance functions, developing a breadth of expertise that the company says has proven instrumental to its continued expansion. In his new position, he will oversee all aspects of company financing and treasury operations, while continuing to support clients directly with their funding needs.

“It has been a pleasure to work alongside the rest of the team at Funding 365 over the past nine years,” Brooks said. “As one of the company’s first graduate hires, I was given a great opportunity to build skills and gain exposure to many areas of the business and industry. I’m delighted to step into my new role and look forward to the challenges ahead.”

Spitz joined the lender with a degree in management and has since become a core member of its underwriting team. As deputy head of underwriting, she will continue to mentor new graduate recruits and help uphold the company’s service standards.

“This promotion is not just a reflection of my contribution to Funding 365, but a testament to the brilliant people I work alongside,” said Spitz. “I’m very passionate about the company and team, so I’m excited to contribute at a higher level.”

Funding 365 director Michael Strange welcomed the promotions, stating: “Jonathan and Katie have both played instrumental roles in our growth and success over the years. Their promotions are thoroughly well-deserved and I have every confidence that they will be hugely successful in their new roles within our leadership team.”
