Fleet appoints new BDM

Fleet Mortgages has announced the appointment of a new business development manager (BDM) covering the South West.

Graham Le Bas (pictured) joins the lender with immediate effect and will be tasked with looking after Fleet’s relationships with advisers and intermediaries across the South West region. He will report to sales director, Ross Turrell.

His most recent position was as a BDM for SortRefer, the conveyancing portal. He has also held managerial roles with (amongst others) CHL Mortgages, Council Homebuyer (Mortgages) Ltd, and Avco Ltd.

Bob Young, CEO of Fleet Mortgages, said: “We continue to add quality people to the business and to ensure we are providing our intermediary partners with access to the best BDMs wherever they might be in the country. Graham is very well known to us from our previous business and we are delighted to be bringing on board someone who knows how we work but, more importantly, has all the skills and experience necessary to provide advisers with the support and resources they need.

“His knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to lending are second to none and we believe he will make a real difference to our existing and new adviser network right across the South West.”
