Finova appoints new commercial director to support growth plans

Published on

Finova has appointed Daniel Broadhurst as commercial director as the cloud-based lending and savings software provider looks to build on its growth in the UK financial services market.

Broadhurst (pictured) will lead the company’s commercial strategy, strengthen client partnerships and support efforts to modernise lending processes and technology architecture across the sector.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience in banking and financial services, spanning both traditional institutions and fintech. After over a decade in senior banking roles, he moved into the technology space, most recently at nCino, where he worked with a range of clients from neobanks to high street lenders on complex change programmes.

Finova’s systems currently power almost £50 billion in loans and savings. Broadhurst’s appointment comes as lenders face major industry shifts driven by artificial intelligence and changing customer expectations.

“The lending market is continuing to evolve at pace, and right now, rapid changes are arriving all the time,” said Broadhurst. “Lenders are contending with new operational challenges on a daily basis, and I could not imagine a more exciting time to join a company like Finova.

“The company has built a huge market presence in the UK thanks to its diverse product offering and deep talent pool.

“I’m excited to contribute to the next chapter of growth and to deliver solutions that create lasting value for our clients and the wider market.”

Gareth Richardson, chief executive of Finova, added: “Daniel brings a winning combination of deep banking expertise and first-hand experience of delivering tangible results for financial institutions.

“His appointment strengthens our leadership team as we continue to scale and underlines our commitment to investing in top talent to support our clients.

“I look forward to working with Daniel as we accelerate Finova’s growth and ensure we remain the partner of choice for lenders and brokers across the UK.”
