Enra appoints chief people officer as headcount doubles in three years

Enra Specialist Finance has named Alex Bradshaw as its new chief people officer.

This is a newly created role designed to underpin the firm’s rapid expansion and its drive to become an employer of choice in the specialist property finance sector.

The appointment comes as Enra’s headcount has doubled in just over three years, growing from around 150 at the end of 2021 to 300 today.

Bradshaw (pictured) will be tasked with shaping the firm’s people strategy and leading the continued development of its human resources operation during what the company describes as a period of significant and sustained growth.

Enra, the parent company of specialist lender West One and brokerage Aria Finance, has created the role to support what it describes as a cohesive, performance-driven culture that enables employees to thrive professionally.

Bradshaw brings over 25 years’ experience in HR and people leadership. Most recently, she oversaw a period of major organisational change at an electrical contractor, including a business sale, two acquisitions and a cultural transformation.

She previously spent eight years at London Luton Airport, where she helped expand the workforce from 300 to more than 1,000 employees. During her tenure, she led initiatives focused on remuneration, reward and talent development.

Enra said her background in driving cultural change and supporting high-growth businesses made her ideally placed to lead its people strategy as it scales.

Chief executive Danny Waters said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alex to Enra at such a pivotal time for the business. Her extensive experience and proven leadership in people strategy will be invaluable as we continue to scale our operations and invest in our people.

“Attracting and developing the best talent is fundamental to our sustained success, and Alex’s appointment ensures we remain at the forefront of the specialist property finance industry.”
