Crystal appoints ops head

Crystal Mortgages has unveiled David Parke as its first director of operations.
Parke joined the Birmingham-based company in October 2007 as operations manager and helped form a new division, Crystal Commercial Funding. He will report to senior underwriter Roger Dewsbery.
Previously he has been an account manager at Beneficial Finance and driver services team leader at HSBC.
Following its launch in April, Crystal Mortgages says it has received applications totalling over £40 million from all around the UK for its near-prime commercial mortgage product.
