Cotality has appointed Carl Ross as head of business development as it looks to expand its presence across the UK mortgage market.

Ross (pictured) will lead the property risk software and data provider’s mortgage market growth strategy, with a focus on building its technology presence among lenders, surveyors and the wider conveyancing ecosystem.

He will also support Cotality’s ambitions in net zero and property data solutions.

Ross joins Cotality with more than 15 years’ experience in the property industry. He was previously lender relationship manager at Landmark Valuation Services.

Mark Blackwell, coo at Cotality, said: “We are thrilled to welcome such a talent to our team to help build even stronger relationships with clients and expand our footprint in the UK mortgage market.”

Ross said: “I am incredibly excited to join Cotality at such a pivotal time. The company’s commitment to innovation and customer service is truly impressive, and I look forward to working with the team to deliver exceptional value to our partners and customers.”
