Conveybuddy donates record £9,747 to charity partners

Published on

Conveyancing distributor conveybuddy donated £9,747 to three charity partners following broker activity on its platform during the second quarter.

Users of the platform can choose to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Rainbows Hospice or Food Bank Aid.

Conveybuddy contributes up to £5 for every completed case, with the donations accumulated over each three-month period and shared among the charities.

The latest sum is the largest quarterly donation made by the distributor since the initiative began. Conveybuddy attributed the increase to growth in adviser registrations and activity during the quarter.

Food Bank Aid distributes food, toiletries and household goods to more than 30 food banks, supporting about 20,000 people each week.

Rainbows Hospice provides care and support for babies, children and young people with serious and terminal conditions, as well as their families. The Motor Neurone Disease Association funds research, works to improve care and supports people living with motor neurone disease, along with their families and carers.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Harpal Singh (main picture, inset), chief executive at conveybuddy, says: “When we launched conveybuddy, we were clear we wanted there to be a real and significant charity element to what we do. One which our adviser users could determine and one which highlighted, and supported, the great work of charities that make a real difference to lots of people right across the UK.

“We are pleased to be able to say that the donations we have made this quarter were the highest amount since we began on this journey. This is down to the growth in our adviser user numbers and the work they are instructing through us.

“We’d like to thank them for choosing to work with us and the difference they are making in doing so. We hope to continue growing both the initiative itself and the support we are able to give these incredible charities.

“In a small way, we are hopefully making a big difference and having a major impact beyond conveyancing.”
