Conveyancing firm OpenConvey has sounded a warning over so-called ‘free legals’ propositions.
Jonathan Hall said the free legals facility offered by lenders on mortgage deals is “fraught with potential compliance danger for the intermediary”” who recommends a free legal package for a remortgage.
