Comms appointments at Zurich UK

Zurich UK has made three senior appointments in the communications team within its life and general insurance business.

Steve Collinson becomes head of communications for general insurance in the UK. He has been with Zurich since 1988, holding a range of roles in finance and operations. His most recent roles were head of operational effectiveness and executive assistant to the chief operating officer.

Louise Zucchi becomes head of media relations for UK and Ireland and head of the UK press office. She joins Zurich from her most recent role as head of media relations at Aviva. She was with Aviva, and its predecessor Norwich Union, since 1997.

She will be responsible for leading the six-strong UK Press Office as well as overseeing Ireland’s media relations activities covering both the general insurance and the life businesses.

Carol Cantlon becomes head of communications for Global Life in Europe and the UK. She has been with Zurich since 1988 with roles in customer operations and HR before moving into communications in 1991. Formerly head of communications for UK Life, her role is now expanded to provide communications support to the CEO Global Life Europe.
