Chetwood Bank has appointed Simon Parish as business development manager for the South East, strengthening its intermediary sales presence across the region.
Parish (pictured) joins the lender with 20 years’ experience in financial services, having previously held business development roles at Metro Bank, Paymentshield, SortRefer and LiveMore Mortgages.
He has also spent the past two years working as a self-employed mortgage broker.
He becomes the latest addition to Chetwood Bank’s dual-branded ModaMortgages and CHL Mortgages sales structure, which allows business development managers to support brokers across both product ranges.
The combined proposition is designed to give intermediaries access to a broader spread of lending solutions through a single relationship, spanning the respective criteria and pricing structures of each brand.
Parish said: “I’m champing at the bit and can’t wait to get out on the road and start showing brokers what Chetwood Bank has to offer through our two lending brands.
“My time spent working as a self-employed mortgage broker has given me valuable insights into the broker world and allowed me to see things from both sides of the fence so I’m really looking forward to bringing what I’ve learned to my new role.”

Darrell Walker, group sales director for ModaMortgages and CHL Mortgages at Chetwood Bank, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Simon to the team and am excited about the wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience he brings to the role.
“His time spent working as a BDM and also as a broker will stand him in good stead and go down very well with intermediaries in the South East of England who are looking for support with placing their cases.”
