Ceta joins TMG Mortgage Network and club panels

Published on

Ceta Insurance has joined the panel of TMG Mortgage Network, becoming its preferred provider of general insurance for both appointed representatives and future directly authorised (DA) members.

This marks the latest strategic partnership for Ceta, the Atec Group-owned personal lines broker known for its digital focus and specialist property risk expertise.

The agreement gives TMG’s 350 brokers access to Ceta’s Infinity platform – the only online portal dedicated to non-standard risks – allowing them to quote, compare and bind standard and non-standard home insurance products in real time.

According to Ceta, the platform supports over 30 non-standard risk types with an average quotability of 90%, helping advisers to source cover for properties that may otherwise be hard to insure.

In addition to joining the network’s core GI panel, Ceta has also become the first insurance provider appointed to TMG’s new Club, which is being developed as a proposition for DA advisers.

The tie-up offers those advisers direct access to the same panel of general insurance products already in use by network members.

Mark Chappell (pictured), head of wholesale at Ceta, said: “We’re delighted to partner with TMG – an organisation clearly close to my heart; I recently left TMG to join Ceta, so there is a long standing relationship there.

“TMG’s mission is about offering simple, smart solutions to its partners and that echoes Ceta’s approach; our easy-to-use quote and bind system lets advisers find the best policy for their clients simply and quickly.

“Ceta also continuously benchmarks its products against its peers ensuring that we consistently deliver value and great customer outcomes. With my heritage spanning both networks and GI providers, I’m passionate about supporting advisers in every way we can to ensure that more clients’ properties get the protection they need.”

TMG Mortgage Network chief executive Scott Thorpe said the partnership with Ceta supports its focus on delivering tailored, technology-driven services to both members and clients.

“I’m delighted to welcome Ceta to our business and to feature them as our first GI provider to our future directly authorised members’ club too – giving those DA members, as well as the network members, direct access to standard and specialist, tailored, non-standard GI,” said Thorpe.

“Ceta’s deep expertise in niche, non-standard household insurance, as well as its data driven technology led approach, makes them the ideal partner – it allows us to offer vital comprehensive and tailored solutions to our members and clients. That’s a key differentiator for us – we take a personalised approach. We don’t aspire to be the biggest, but we do want to be the best.”
