Burrow unveils digital customer on-boarding platform

Published on

Burrow has launched a new on-boarding service for mortgage lenders, allowing a mortgage lender to score, rank and convert website visitors 24/7.

The Saffron Building Society is the first to launch Burrow’s fully automated, pre-application qualification solution for new mortgage customers.

The user-interface enables lenders to accurately, pre-qualify customer mortgage enquiries with a ‘plug and play’ solution, without the need to integrate into core banking platforms, although a fully integrated option is also available.

Customers visiting lender websites are taken through a short conversational form resulting in a personalised Mortgage Report that includes eligibility assessment, a maximum loan, and tailored product options. Behind the scenes, the customer is scored and ranked, to better support lenders to tailor and manage their customer contact strategy.

Colin Field, CEO of the Saffron Building Society, said: “As a regional, mutual building society, we pride ourselves on service and customer centricity. We take a traditional, yet digital approach to serving our customers which also applies to our underwriting approach.

“Burrow will enable us to revolutionise our customer-approach, resulting in better customer experiences and tools that reduce mortgage appointment times, without sacrificing the quality of advice.”

Pradeep Raman, director of digital solutions at DPR, said: “We’re really pleased to partner with Saffron to help them communicate their unique mortgage products and service to customers, online. Within minutes, Burrow is able to understand an applicant’s needs and showcase applicable niche products whether that is for self-employed, self-build or houses of multiple occupation.

“We believe that our solution can speed up the pace of digital transformation whilst empowering lenders to improve customer outcomes and increase operational efficiency.”
