Brightstar outlines Specialist Lending Expo panel discussions

Published on

The Brightstar Group has revealed the line-up for the two key panel discussions at its Specialist Lending Expo next week.

The first panel discussion will focus on the mortgage market and its opportunities, covering the impact of the Budget on future mortgage business, debating whether we’re witnessing the “death of buy-to-let”, and discussing how to thrive in 2025.

Chaired by Rob Jupp, Brightstar’s group CEO, the panel will include Adrian Moloney, group intermediary director at OSB Group; Barry Searle, managing firector at Castle Trust Bank; Steve Cox, chief commercial officer at Fleet Mortgages and David Whittaker, CEO at Keystone Property Finance.

MOTIVATE, INSPIRE AND RETAIN

The second panel of the day will cover the importance of organisational culture, with insights on how to motivate, inspire and retain team members. The panel will be chaired by Clare Jupp, chief people officer at the Brightstar Group, and include Buster Tolfree, director of mortgages at United Trust Bank; Hayley Evans, key relationship manager at OSB Group; Nick Baker, chief commercial officer at Allica Bank; Tanya Elmaz, director of intermediary sales at Together and Grant Hendry, director of sales at Foundation Home Loans.

The agenda will also include a one-to-one conversation between William Lloyd-Hayward, group COO at the Brightstar Group and Joshua Elash, chief executive officer at MT Finance. And there will also be a keynote presentation from Darren Winder, head of Lazarus Economics and Strategy, who will provide the latest insights into the economic outlook.

The Specialist Lending Expo will take place on Wednesday 13th November at Riverside East in Stratford, East London.

“If you are interested in attending, be quick, because this event will sell out”

Rob Jupp said: “We launched The Specialist Lending Expo saying that it would have the greatest line-up of industry speakers ever assembled, and the agenda has already captured the imagination of brokers, with registrations very nearly at capacity.

“The announcement of our panel sessions is bound to interest any broker who takes an interest in the impact of the Budget, the future of buy-to-let, how to thrive in ’25 and the best way to motivate and retain team members.

“If you are interested in attending, be quick, because this event will sell out.”

RISING TIDES

Leah Brunskill

Leah Brunskill, head of marketing at Market Financial Solutions, an Expo exhibitor, added: “We’re a firm believer in the importance of education in bettering the property market at large – a rising tide lifts all boats. It’s why we’re thrilled to be attending the Specialist Lending Expo, and absorbing all the insight available on these crucial corners of the industry.”
