Bridgewater to head to Bristol and Maidstone

Published on

Bridgewater Equity Release has published details of the latest in its series of regular broker forums.

They will take place in Bristol and Maidstone during July.

The first forum will be held in Bristol on Tuesday 19 July at The Bristol Golf and Country Club, St. Swithins’ Park, Blackhorse Hill, Almondsbury, Bristol BS10 7TP. The Maidstone forum will be held the following day on Wednesday 20 July at the Holiday Inn Maidstone, London Road, Wrotham Heath TN15 7RS.

Both broker forums begin with networking from 10am for a 10.30am start. The meetings conclude at 12.30pm followed by lunch and finish at 1pm. Free parking is available at both forum venues.

Bridgewater’s Broker Forums are designed to provide equity release advisers, and those looking at entering the sector, with an opportunity to discuss a wide range of related issues in an informal setting. All subjects under discussion are determined by the assembled group.

Peter Welch, head of sales and distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, said: “We are certainly in an interesting period for not just the equity release market but also in terms of the provision of retirement advice in general. The recent publication of the Dilnot report into the funding of social care has catapulted the whole issue of how individuals fund their retirement into the collective consciousness of the nation. This is therefore a particularly pertinent time for advisers who either specialise in equity release or are looking to enter the sector.
