Blemain Group has donated over £400 and written over 200 Christmas cards to children at the burns unit at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

For the third consecutive year, Blemain Group has chosen the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for its Christmas appeal and over £15,000 has been raised for the charity to date.

Employees at the Cheadle-based firm wrote cards for children at the hospital in time for Christmas, as well as donate money to go directly to the burns unit.

Irene Thomas, supporting the Community Committee chair, Blemain Group said: “There was a fantastic turnout yet again this year for our Christmas appeal. It’s great to see such enthusiasm from our staff to do their bit for such a great cause, particularly in the run up to Christmas.”

Jenny Clarke, corporate and individual fundraising manager at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the support that Blemain Group has given over the past few years, and this donation is no exception.

“The unit was so pleased with the Christmas cards they received-it really does make a difference.”
