Blazehill Capital completes senior credit facility with HTB

Published on

Blazehill Capital, a fund providing financing solutions to mid-market businesses, has completed a milestone senior credit facility in partnership with Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB).

The facility marks an important strategic milestone in the team’s journey to £1bn in assets under management and the new partnership with HTB will allow Blazehill Capital to offer enhanced flexibility to the UK mid-market.

Blazehill provides supportive capital to companies requiring new or additional financial support, which they cannot necessarily access from traditional funding sources. It covers a range of financial transactions including acquisitions, growth capital, refinancings and recapitalisations.

Browne Jacobson advised Blazehill Capital on the transaction, with Deloitte Fund Finance providing Debt Advisory services and Macfarlanes providing Tax Structuring.

Tom Weedall, managing director at Blazehill, said: “It’s an exciting time at Blazehill, with our new partnership with Hampshire Trust Bank marking a bold next step for us. The senior credit facility will enable us to continue driving forward our innovative approach to credit solutions. We’re grateful to Hampshire Trust and all the advisors involved for delivering a collaborative and solution-led process, and we look forward to continuing the partnership.

“With a diversified funding structure and a growing team, we are well-placed as we approach our third anniversary to continue to support borrowers across the mid-market with transformational capital.”
