Berkeley Alexander expands commercial team

Published on

General insurance provider Berkeley Alexander has recruited Danielle Hubert as a commercial account handler.

This is a new additional role created to cater for growth, and the second recent appointment made to its commercial team.

Hubert joins Berkeley Alexander from Basil Fry & Company. Working her way up from broking administrator to commercial account handler in less than two years, her expertise includes Employers’ and Public Liability, D&O, property, and fleet motor.

Geoff Hall, Berkeley Alexander’s chairman, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome yet another young and ambitious account handler to the team. Danielle is confident, ambitious and a real people-person, skills that will no doubt help her thrive in her new role here at Berkeley Alexander. Our commercial team is growing quickly. In the current climate there is a significant opportunity for agents who can find the right range and choice of cover.

“Berkeley Alexander is therefore a valuable partner, helping agents protect their commercial clients thanks to the strength of our product range, wide panel, and skilled team capable of providing bespoke quotes for non-standard or difficult to place risks, and those that need the personal touch.”

Hubert added: “I’m thrilled to join Berkeley Alexander. I am keen to further develop my skills and grow my experience and truly believe that this is the best possible place for me to do both. I look forward to working with the wider team, helping agents differentiate their proposition and generate additional income.”
