Barclays has announced further reductions across its mortgage range, with three-year fixed rates seeing cuts of up to 0.29%, effective from Tuesday 16 December.

The latest repricing is focused primarily on residential purchase and remortgage products, alongside reductions in the lender’s existing customer reward range. Barclays said its three-year fixed range has been cut significantly, with the lowest rate now starting from 3.70%.

Within its purchase-only residential range, Barclays has reduced its Premier three-year fixed rate at 60% LTV with an £899 product fee from 3.97% to 3.70%. A three-year fixed product at the same LTV with no product fee has been cut from 4.12% to 3.84%, while the equivalent 75% LTV option with an £899 fee has fallen from 4.14% to 3.85%.

Five-year fixed rates have also been lowered. At 60% LTV, Premier and standard five-year fixed products with an £899 fee have been reduced to 3.78% and 3.79% respectively, while the fee-free option at the same LTV has fallen to 3.88%.

At 75% LTV, the five-year fixed with an £899 fee has been cut to 3.86%, and the £0 fee version reduced to 3.94%.

Barclays has also applied reductions to its Green Home five-year fixed products. At 60% LTV, the £899 fee option has been lowered from 3.72% to 3.69%, while the 75% LTV equivalent has been cut from 3.80% to 3.76%.

In the remortgage-only range, the three-year fixed at 60% LTV with a £999 product fee has been reduced from 3.90% to 3.75%. The corresponding 75% LTV product has fallen from 4.03% to 3.86%.
