Bank of Ireland brings Lauren Wiles back to national partnership role

Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries has appointed Lauren Wiles as a national partnership manager as it seeks to strengthen broker and intermediary relationships in 2026.

Wiles (pictured) is returning to the lender following maternity leave and a career break, and will rejoin the intermediary team this month.

The appointment adds to Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries’ national partnership team at a time when lenders continue to compete for distribution strength and service differentiation across networks, clubs and broker firms.

Bank of Ireland said Wiles would focus on rebuilding and deepening relationships across the intermediary market, drawing on her previous experience in intermediary support and mortgage marketing.

She first joined the lender in 2019 and, according to the bank, built a strong presence across its intermediary-facing business before stepping away from the role.

In her new position, Wiles will work with brokers and intermediary partners as Bank of Ireland looks to support its growth plans for the year.

Wiles said: “I’m genuinely delighted to be returning to the National Partnership Manager role with Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries. Having built so many relationships across the intermediary market, it feels great to be reconnecting with colleagues and partners I’ve really valued working with.

“I’m also incredibly grateful for the support the Bank has given me throughout my time away from the role. Their flexibility made a huge difference to me and my family.

“I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned back and to contribute to the continued growth of our broker partnerships.”

Rhys Powell, interim head of distribution, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Lauren back to the team as she resumes the National Partnership Manager role. Since first joining us in 2019, Lauren has built strong and trusted relationships across the intermediary market, and her return reflects both her professional strengths and the value she brings to our customers and business.

“We have ambitious growth plans for 2026 and our national partnership team are key partners for our network and mortgage club relationships, ensuring we continue to provide the highest standards of service and tailored support.”
