Assurant Intermediary moves to boost service proposition

Published on

Assurant Intermediary has created a client relationship team to improve service levels that brokers receive.

Claire Peters, will lead the seven-strong team, which will combine business account executive and business development personnel to increase the sales and training support available to brokers working with Assurant Intermediary.

Core responsibilities will include retention management, back book marketing and direct marketing campaigns, preparation of training materials and delivery of webinar training sessions.

Kevin Paterson , Assurant Intermediary’s sales and marketing director, said: “We are judged by the service we provide to our intermediaries. We’ve already taken a step to further improve on standards with the appointment of Joanne Glenn at the beginning of the year as our business liaison manager. Bringing these two in-house groups together creates one strong team and effectively doubles the level of support that we can provide. This gives us greater capacity to deliver more training and support not only for our brokers but also our business development managers.
